Chromatic tuner
Autocorrelation pitch detection accurate to a single cent, with 42 tunings covering six-string, baritone, seven- and eight-string, bass, ukulele, mandolin and banjo. Adjustable reference pitch from 415 to 466 Hz, auto or manual string targeting, and a reference tone for every string.
TimeMetronome & drum beats
Sample-accurate scheduling so the click doesn't drift. Nineteen grooves including shuffle, half-time shuffle, 12/8 blues, train beat, bossa, Motown, 7/8 and 5/4 — each one editable step by step. Swing slider, tap tempo, count-in and a per-voice mixer.
HarmonyChord library
Choose a root and every chord built on it appears, grouped into major, minor, dominant, suspended, sixth, diminished, altered and power families. Open-position fingerings sit beside movable shapes, and every card plays back a real strum.
FretboardScales & fretboard explorer
Draw any scale or mode across the whole neck with intervals labelled, root notes highlighted and the five box positions outlined. Works in any tuning, plays back ascending and descending, and shows you which chords come out of the scale.
EarTuning by ear
The fifth-fret method walked through one string at a time with audio for each pair, the harmonic and octave cross-checks, a lab where you can hear beat frequencies slow to nothing, and the history of how the world landed on A = 440 Hz.

A note on how these work
Every tool here is a single page of HTML and JavaScript. There is no server doing the work, no audio uploaded anywhere, and no tracking beyond basic analytics. Once a page has loaded it will keep working with the network off, which is useful in a rehearsal room with bad signal.
The tuner needs microphone permission and a secure connection. If you have opened one of these files directly from your hard drive rather than over the web, the microphone will not start — that is a browser rule, not a bug.
